Self Empowerment

“She stands, alone, in the darkened night,
Staring upwards at the stars so bright;
Drinking the joy of the moment and the bliss of NOW,
Her pulse racing, her heart thudding and a quivering brow;
She’s found the peace she had longed to discover,
Validated her quest for the Goddess within her;
Clutching it in her fists, so tightly clenched,
Enfolding it in her arms, locked and entrenched.
And then a gentle, whispering, shadowless voice
Said, “Let go, let go and truly rejoice’
For the One you keep seeking is YOU and YOU and only YOU”
