A Dream-Vision

There is a mixture of fear, excitement and expectation. Soldiers have gathered on a marshland plateau with a fair amount of scattered trees on a huge mound sloping down to a vast clump of trees and vegetation. This area seems to be a 'border' of some kind and troops have been moved there to stop people from crossing to the other side. This 'other' side appears to be veiled by strong energy currents rising high into the sky, shimmering a message of intense heat and lifelessness and curiosity!

One man, mature and in white and orange robes, sporting a white, long beard, neatly, has reached the top of the mound and is speaking to the crowds and the troops. "You have created the very life which you now find intolerable. You have run mindlessly from government to guru expecting miracles from them, and none have been forthcoming. Even amidst the windows of light that appeared fleetingly, you refused to accept their simple but true message. Every step you have rushed to take in order to achieve 'enlightenment' has not served you well because you have insisted that 'enlightenment' is all about living a life in material abundance and physical perfection and emotional titillation. To you, 'enlightenment' has been all about continuing the same 'order' of life, but, with a renewed sense of purpose to manipulate it to serve you better – physically, materially and emotionally! Your every and only wish has been to somehow escape a life of material 'lack' to a life of material abundance! And even when you have achieved this, you have not been fulfilled because your greed and ego would not allow you to know 'how much is enough'! And so, just as in the days before "the new age", you have continued to live selfishly, greedily and in cutthroat competition with your neighbour and guru even during and beyond "the new age". Why? Because the "new age" infiltrated your ego with a grander purpose of who knew the answer better and you beat your way to be the "first" with a new 'cure', then you formed organisations and elitist clubs where only the rich could attend, you pervaded the media with your newly 'discovered' 'wisdom', and, even as you proclaimed "self-empowerment" from the roof tops, you continued shamelessly to manipulate your easily very gullible brothers and sisters into attending your abhorrently expensive workshops, seminars and retreats, even while hiding your own fear of how you would be able to maintain your newly discovered standards of opulence!!! What were you thinking of? Did you really believe that 'spirituality' was a new license to print the old notes of greed, intolerance, jealousy and fear in new shades of the heart chakra 'green' and the crown chakra 'blue'???? And you will continue to live this tormenting philosophy as long as you refuse to exchange the ancient words of 'hate, fear and greed' from within your belief system, to the divine expression of 'love is more, love is enough and love is ALL!'

You can change your belief system. You can shift its paradigm. You can't change yourself. You can shift your beliefs to a new paradigm through your higher consciousness. I am going over to the 'other' side of my belief system by crossing the border into my higher consciousness. I see a new wave of loving and joyful beingness there and I will merge into it and emerge into oneness. It is up to each of you to decide whether you will shift to this path in your belief system or remain chained to the old ways. If you do decide to shift to the new paradigm of love, then know that it is you who will perform this 'miracle' and that it is you who will live its wisdom and you who will walk its path. Do not believe for even an instant that it is "I" who will lead you there as that would be the old ways. No, you will lead yourself and, as you come to realise more and more, the presence of the divine creator that is you, then, more and more, will your journey unfold joyfully into loving eternity."

With these words the 'old' man turned and walked down the mound, his step appearing to become more sprightly as he disappeared into the veil. Behind him there were shouts of joy, of command, of jubilation, of contempt, of laughter, of abuse and of love. Many rushed down the mound, some walked hesitatingly towards it, stopped, and some of them crossed over while others returned to their families and comforts, many turned away and walked back to the old ways, some walked back hesitatingly, stopped, and some turned around and crossed over to the new paradigm.
